lonely Copper Street.

on lonely, rainy Copper Street walks the girl with the drum and bookbag. everyone thinks that she hasn't opened her books in years, but i know she reads by moonlight; the street lights and lamps in windows frighten her.
her tangled hair and uncleaned nails give away her hygiene, her dirt-crusted shoes tell all.
but when the water falls
on lonely, rainy Copper Street, the girl sits on the corner
of Holland and Copper and taps her drum.

Beast. She threw open all of the doors she sprinted by, none of them containing her dear Beast. Her mind was crazy with desire of his touch, his warm heart, his love for her. Her senses were dulled by the tiredness she endured for love of him, her eyesight well yearning for rest. "Beast!" she cried out, but only a whisper escaped her lips. "Beast." Heart pounding inside her chest, beneath the layers and layers of fabric and confusion, she reaches the door at the end of the hallway, frantic to find her Beast. The door swung open involuntarily, as most of them did in the daytime, and th Beast.

So, you probably all have seen my new ID, which states that I am officially single.
Which is true, but a little sad for me.
I just feel scared now, because I put full trust and faith that my last boyfriend was....
It's just really scary for me, to think that I might never find a soul mate.
But I was reading one of my books, Sundays at Tiffany's (very good, by the way. I started reading it around 5 PM and finished 12 minutes before midnight that night.), and at the end when the mom's in the hospital about to die, she tells her daughter, "...you were the love of my life."
And, immediately after reading that, I bawled my eyes out for about a good 5 minutes. Because I've thought about my little Danny that way (no, i'm a virgin without children, I just plan far ahead in life.). So that was kinda pathetic of me... ummm...
